Make A Difference

The human way of life:

Increases CO2 in the air. Mainly by burning fossil fuels derived from crude oil and coal, forms of carbon previously stored underground for millions of years.

Removes the planets ability to absorb the CO2 from the air by logging forests and land clearing. A process that also releases previously stored carbon. When a tree turns to ash in a fire, the CO2 it inhaled from the air to grow limbs over its lifetime is released back into the air.

Reducing the human carbon footprint will increasingly become a driving force that influences our everyday way of life. Those who are aware of the future implications from the changes we have made to the planet will have already changed their way of life. They may have encouraged you to do the same. Whether or not you choose to make a change right now, damage has already been done. Its reversal is crucial and will inevitably dictate our future way of life.

A carbon trading scheme and ratification of the Kyoto protocol is inevitable. The cost of doing dirty business will soon make it unfeasible. A change to sustainable development is something to look forward to and embrace. This is a real issue!! It won’t go away, and fixing it is going to require real innovation and action.
